Colby Davis

I started in the home services industry alongside my father at a young age, spending weekends on job sites long before I was old enough to understand the scale of what was being built. At 10 years old, I was handing him the wrong channel locks and learning firsthand what hard work, craftsmanship, and accountability looked like in the real world.

As soon as I was old enough to work full time, I immersed myself in the trades, often working 70-hour weeks across roofing, painting, and pool renovations. Those years built the foundation for everything that followed. They taught me how businesses are truly built: through consistency, grit, leadership, and a relentless commitment to execution.

At 20, I launched my first home service company. Over the following years, I scaled it into an eight-figure enterprise value while simultaneously building and vertically integrating five additional brands across the home services sector.

At 26, I developed a deep passion for the stock market and capital allocation. I became fascinated by the idea that ownership in world-class businesses could be acquired with the click of a button. Since then, I have spent more than 20,000 hours studying markets, business models, macroeconomics, and long-term investing strategies. Alongside public markets, I also expanded into real estate acquisitions and holdings, further strengthening my understanding of asset ownership and scalable cash-flow businesses.

In 2025, I combined everything I had built and learned by launching my own capital company through Indy Capital.

What sets me apart is simple: I understand what it feels like to build a company from nothing. I know the emotional, physical, and mental sacrifice required because I have lived every phase of it myself. For many founders, selling or partnering is not just a financial decision. It is deeply personal. Their company is their life’s work.

That is why I believe the best partnerships are built on alignment, trust, and shared experience. When founders choose a growth partner, they deserve someone who understands the weight of what they have built and has the operational experience, strategic vision, and long-term mindset to help take it to the next level.
